About the NatureGazing guy:
My name is Andy Tyler and I live in Devon (that's a pretty county in the southwest of the UK - two coastlines, moorland, woodland and farmland; amongst the urban landscape of modern life) with my darling wife. I work in ICT, but my true passions are related to the world outside. I was brought up enjoying walks in the countryside and have always had an interest in wildlife. I love to watch and find interesting species, particularly birds and little things.
I was always a little wary of spiders and had recurring nightmares about giant spiders, however in recent years I have been able to conquer this fear and it has now opened the floodgates for me to freely enjoy more and more of the natural world.
In addition my nightmares have completely gone and have been replaced with exciting dreams of finding new species of spiders; and I can easily say that spiders are my favourite creatures.
This website (and my Twitter account) are an expression of my love of nature - and particularly an attempt to get more people to notice, appreciate and (hopefully) fall in love with the wonders of 'tiny' nature.
I hope you like it!
